E-formed pendant

Note: I found this post in my Draft folder, and decided to publish it because I'm sure someone will enjoy reading it and looking at the cool pictures. (Electroforming looks so good on camera!)

This afternoon I decided to take a break from seed beads and make some electroformed pendants.

I start with lampwork beads, two sizes of copper wire that I'll weave into a bail, and conductive paint. I made a big batch of beads for electroforming this summer and this is the last of them.


I think I'll cover that icky green bead entirely with copper. I've never done that before and this bead is a perfect candidate.

The finished pendants will look something like this one, which I made last year:
I love to handle these pendants; the texture feels so cool!
